What to do when you don’t know your next move
Does it seem like everyone, except you, has discovered just how easy it is to make thousands of dollars a day?
You can’t help but notice, right? There are the unsolicited emails, digital advertisements, and online programs that insist that it’s real simple, and they have everything you need to accomplish the same outcome.
Yet, there doesn’t seem to be a mad dash by millions of struggling people making a beeline to any one of the many get rich quick options inundating the internet.
If you are in a particularly trying place in your life right now, these continuous declarations of financial success can wreak havoc on you confidence and self esteem; let’s not even mention the motivation factor.
Here you are, all played out, with no moves left and nothing to show for it. What do you do?
Available Options
Well, some people swipe to that favorite motivational app and have a listen. While others, hire a coach; call up their parents; and seek out help and advise anywhere it can be found. Some, in this mad state of desperation, continue to fail, repeatedly, after each attempt to regain ground and control in their lives.
I suggest quieting your life, treading water, so to speak, as the best move at this very point in your life.
My reason for this is based solely on the subconscious mind that exist within each of us.
I’ve found that most people don’t pay that much attention to their subconscious mind; what it really does; and how it directly impacts our lives.
For example, did you know that Neuroscience has established that the subconscious mind controls 95% of your life; not your actions — your life!
For something to have that much control of your life, you should be much more conscious of it, no? Pun intended.
Are you wondering what I mean by 95% of your life? Well, there are the activities that ensure your daily existence that you have no conscious control over, like your beating heart, your inflating and deflating lungs, your digestion, waste elimination, the movement of blood from one part of your body to the other. You get the idea. You couldn’t stop these functions if you put your mind to it. I don’t know why you would want to, anyway.
Practical Approaches
How often have you heard motivational speakers say that words are powerful and to concentrate and focus on positivity; speak it into existence?
This is because the subconscious mind is very literal and has one objective, to follow commands. It does not categorize its commands as good or bad, positive or negative. It just does as it is told.
Here is where most people drop the ball. They start their day with positive affirmations, great! However, with the subconscious mind, an affirmation that sounds like ‘I will be successful one day’ is not really a command that requires a response in the present, does it?
The subconscious mind works in the present always. When we are having memories of the past or fantasying about the future, that is the workings of our conscious mind.
Do you want to get your subconscious mind’s attention? Change your conversation.
Your affirmations should be commands that your subconscious mind can execute now.
Speak your truth into existence
So, instead of saying ‘I will be successful one day’, what you should say is ‘I am successful’. Weird right?
Remember me saying that you should stand still earlier. That’s because your subconscious mind always knows; and if it always knows, then now is the time, among all the chaos you are experiencing right now, to take the time to listen.
In order to do that, you must slow things down, eliminate distractions, and pay keen attention to ‘that little voice’ inside you.
If you’re not use to doing this, you may be unsure; but, believe me, your subconscious mind has been talking to you from day one. It’s your one true bff.
Maybe you are so busy searching for and chasing your success that you are not hearing your subconscious mind trying to take you in the exact direction you need to go in order to achieve your success, your current command.
