According to New York Times Op-Ed columnist David Brooks, the rules of logic does not apply to inspiration.

Often times, during a moment of inspiration, an individual feels. Others reflect on experiencing a feeling of superiority.

All admit that inspiration is completely out of their control, even magically in its execution.

Brooks writes, “When one is inspired, time disappears or alters its pace. The senses are amplified. There may be goose bumps or shivers down the spine, or a sense of being overawed by some beauty.”

What does it feel like to be inspired?

Some say that being inspired is like feeling an adrenaline rush. Others describe the feeling of inspiration as being very aware of so many more possibilities.

Still more people describe inspiration as feeling a boost of self-confidence.  This is believed to be as a result of feeling very competent..

Embrace inspiration. It promotes positive change. With inspiration, you are able to assess things differently.

Inspired individuals often approach a problem from a completely different angle, and often find success in their personal and professional lives.
